The place was clean and gorgeous, had very very helpful and caring staff in particular the manager and the night porter. It was a nice size with a reasonable mattress, good enough for a wedding ceremony. Hotel's location was comfortable and handy, to the front garden.

The hotel was easy to find, coming off the m62. It was 10 minutes from our wedding location. The beds were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast included in the price made it a value for money stay. Although there was a wedding at the hotel when we arrived, and the staff were obviously very busy, we were made very welcome. The late bar for residents meant that on our return we could enjoy a night cap in our room.
There were a couple of small issues with the room which we made comments on at the time but otherwise very satisfied with everything.

We came for a party in the private room, and the table setting was very good, the meal delicious and the waiters gave excellent and friendly service. It was very convenient to be able to stay overnight (and at a reduced rate) and we retired to a very clean and comfortable room The breakfast was also very good and we liked the little different things. The rhubarb yoghurt, the lovely sausages and the little pots of lovely jam and marmalade - much better than opening little sachets, Well done.

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We wanted a cheap evening meal and, although the menu in the restaurant looked good, it was a little out of our price-range. However the receptionist kindly gave instructions to another restaurant that was a little cheaper.
I was unable to plug in the kettle for a hot drink. I had to move it on to the floor so that the cable was able to reach a power socket. Not ideal.
